CLOSING OUT THE YEAR
(…and may we all have bungee cords as we take a flying leap into the New Year)
Well, it’s another year down.
It looks like Christmas and the holiday season is closing out the year on a tentative upbeat note. And as for the New Year…may we all have bungee cords as we take a flying leap into it.
How well our glorious leadership at the White House and in Congress will fix things for us to avoid that – Fiscal Cliff – they were all ranting about…remains to be seen. But this is not the occasion for doom-and-gloom brooding, or indulging in anxious thinking about our national concerns and condition.
With that in mind…let’s just say…I’m planning on having my pot of jolly…so I hope you all can get potted too! Meanwhile, the annex with this issue is about a feisty little critter which always got into the spirit of the season with his antics. Sadly…he’s long been gone…but our fond memories of him linger on.
Cheers!
