OUR FINANCIAL HOUSE REMAINS IN DISORDER
(…while we dangle on bungee cords from that fiscal cliff)

The President and the Congress continue to fail us miserably… as our financial house remains in disorder…while we dangle from that fiscal cliff with whatever financial bungee cords we can put together for ourselves.

All these career politicos have failed us because they have been, and continue to be, more concerned with their political self-interests rather than doing what’s necessary and right for the common good of our country. All of which leaves us with only – uncertainty – about how and in what way we go from here, as we grimly hang on to those bungee cords dangling over the only –certainty- of an economic abyss waiting for us down below… should we ever lose our grips on them…or those cords give way.

This is not our idea of a proper matrix for re-energizing our economy, encouraging capital investment, getting folks back to work, and otherwise putting our ship of state back on a steady course.

The sad thing about all this is that all these “honorables” we were dumb enough to re-elect have had plenty of time to properly fix things for us before this situation developed. But they frittered that time away, preferring to stampede into their respective campaign modes… instead of taking care of business (…while raking in a flood of money in the process). Meanwhile, we tax-paying voters like the docile sheep-brained critters we are, passively swallowed that hokum swill they were palming off on us as being only political show-biz, and voted for their candidates much as we do for other reality-show fakeries.

The only saving grace in our situation today is the sheer size and momentum of our economic machinery is just too powerful for even self-serving politicos like these to impede  its implacable momentum to reach a higher level of GDP output (even with heavier taxes and tighter austerity spending measures). The only question remaining about that being…how much of it will we tax-paying voters allow them to rip-off for themselves? Well, if we’re now going to be working for peanuts…maybe in 2014 we should all vote for Snoopy.

Meanwhile…can we voters impeach the entire Congress on the grounds of –nonfeasance in office- along with – contempt of taxpayers-?

If so…I’m up for that!
