THE MYSTERY OF FLIGHT 370 (…is a disappearance worthy of the Bermuda Triangle)

Disastrous events in commercial aviation are not unknown, and when they do happen everyone reacts emotionally to them. The case of Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, however, is something never experienced before. The mystery of Flight 370…is a disappearance worthy of the Bermuda Triangle.

Modern airliners simply don’t just disappear. Yes, they have sometimes been hijacked, and have been known to crash, or, even sometimes shot down, or blown up in flight , but no one has ever heard of one simply …disappearing…while in normal flight, and without a trace.

It’s been a week now, and despite a massive international effort and the application of all sorts of technologies to find it, nobody has a clue about what may have happened to it…and all of its passengers and crew.

All sorts of scenarios have been, and are, being postulated about what may have happened to it, but none of them have more than the flimsiest of data or other evidence to support their probabilities. So far, no matter how they try to come up with something that makes sense…they still have zilch…about what might have happened to it.

Aircraft of this size (and the Boeing 777 is not exactly a Piper Cub) are not easily un-noticed. Nor are they easy to conceal. If it had crashed into the ocean, somewhere, there would be some kind of debris or other evidence for such an event. If it had, instead, crashed on land somewhere, no matter how remote, that would have been noticed and discovered by someone long before this.

It is indeed a great puzzlement. We can but hope that eventually the mystery will be solved, and more importantly, that most, if not all of those souls aboard it will be found safe and sound…somewhere.

Meanwhile, we can’t help but wonder if some alien UFOs might be involved with this case. Did one of them simply “beam them all up” into its own dimension? We may never know … but as things stand right now…it’s as valid as any other possibility being bandied about, and no weirder an explanation than those made about the cause of…crop circles.
