ONE DOWN….MORE TO GO
(….two million bucks on his head)

For all practical purposes, the Gadaffi regime is finished. Except, of course, the good colonel (along with a number of his close family and associates), is nowhere to be found.

So now there’s a price on his head, and theirs, for two million bucks worth. That seems a bit much for someone who’s been such a pain in the ass to everyone for so many years. Well, maybe not.

Where he might be is anyone’s guess. Many believe he and what’s left of his crew somehow managed to sneak out of Tripoli and scoot over to Sirte (his hometown), perhaps figuring they still love him there. But with a two million dollar bounty on his head….hometown love could prove to be an illusion.

But he is a wily bugger, so, perhaps, he may have just quietly crept away southwards into Libya’s deserts, hunkering down in plain sight out there, under a tent like any other desert dweller (he always claimed he liked tents, just like the one we blew up some years ago).

Personally, with characters like Gadaffi, to talk about finding and arresting him, and then putting him on trial for all his misdeeds during his rule, is a waste of energy, money, and time. A Mussolini end-result, or even a Ceacescu one, would probably be more fitting. In any event it should be summary and public, very public, so that all others of his ilk understand what fate awaits them.

Well, it’s one down….and more to go
