THE REAL FOUNTAINHEADS OF BIGOTRY AND HATE…
(…come from all those false prophets who dishonor whatever faith they claim to follow…)

The recent mindless slaughter and mayhem at a popular Orlando night club, which catered to a mostly gay patronage of one kind or another, is another example of the declining sense of moral values in our country.

Regardless of any antipathies one might have against any particular segment of our polity, whether it be against its gender orientation, racial or ethnic origin, or even religious faith, such slaughter and mayhem of complete strangers because of such antipathies is inexcusable, and those who commit them must be considered absolutely…irredeemable

The sad thing, unfortunately, is that such individuals don’t just suddenly erupt…sui generis …so to speak, but appear to be the by-product coming from the real fountainheads of bigotry and hate…all those false prophets who dishonor whatever faith they claim to follow…by the way they distort the tenets of those faiths…and exhort their followers to perpetrate such terrible acts. A prime example of one of these is an erstwhile “Christian minister” who, from his bully pulpit, applauded what happened in Orlando because it eliminated so many gays, and ranted to his congregation he only wished more of them could have been…mowed down. He is not the only one, of course, and there are any number of others out there, Christian, Jewish, or Muslim…who in their own ways promote the same brand of extreme bigotry and hatred. It’s ironic because all of these faiths proclaim to be for love towards all…God’s creatures. Perhaps more than this being just an irony, such clerics of those faiths are simply engaging in pure…hypocrisy.

So it seems somewhat twisted of them to rant against those who are born with a different gender orientation, because what they don’t understand, or deliberately ignore, is that if they are born that way, fulminating against it and blaming them for being that way…is simply grabbing the wrong end of the theological stick. Logically, if they were born, created, that way…then the fault lies squarely with their Creator…since he is the one who somehow mis-wired their gender orientation…not them. Thus those who violently object to the existence of such individuals need to face the reality that they must redirect their ire not at these but at…God…El… Allah …or whatever label they give to the divinity they claim to believe in…for having done so.

Of course, since they claim that such a divine entity is faultless, and incapable of error, it’s thus impossible to blame it for such faults or errors, and therefore easier for them to pick on those who are the product of such fault or error…instead.

 Perhaps the real answer for preventing more of such tragedies from happening is not just trying to make it more difficult for nut cases like the Orlando, the Charleston, the Fort Hood individuals to get access to guns of any kind, but to have all the so-called spiritual leaders of those faiths make greater efforts to emphasize love, compassion, and understanding of others, rather than fulminating against their perceived “sins”, thereby inciting such mentally unstable individuals to commit these insanities of mass murder and mayhem.
